The 6-floor office building on the Spree River consists of a compact structure with a facade of clinker brick fields alternating with glazed areas with cantilevered steel balconies.
It is placed at a distance from the fire wall of the neighbouring building. The resulting gap contains infrastructure as well as ancillary rooms. Towards the Spree, the gap features a generously glazed facade. An external staircase consisting of a steel construction is inserted at the south side of the building.
Access to THE BRICK is located on the east side of the building below the cantilever of the upper floors and above the public green square.
The building has a total of four rental units with sizes ranging between 100 sqm and 200 sqm. Two of them are planned as maisonettes with an internal staircase. All units are equipped with balconies or terraces.
