MARKTPASSAGE
Since its opening in the 1980s, the MARKTPASSAGE has been the most important full-service center in the Arnsberg district of Neheim. The object was originally built for a famila grocery store, which was replaced by Kaufland in 2003.
In order to efficiently set up for the future, the location was closed in December 2018. In the following 18 months, the property was dismantled to the concrete skeleton, parts of the property were demolished. The shopping center was then rebuilt. The measures extended from the underground car park, the ground floor to the first floor. Attractive retail space for anchor tenant EDEKA was created on the ground floor. Other well-known retailers are Ernsting's Family, Jeans Fritz and Woolworth, amongst others. The city Arnsberg will move in with its library on the top floor. The MARKTPASSAGE was reopened on July 1, 2020.
