The Kaufland hypermarket in the Bruchhausen district of Arnsberg was closed in November 2017 and returned to its shell state. After one year of revitalisation, it was reopened in October 2018 as the largest food market in the Arnsberg city area. The originally separate beverage market was integrated into the main building. In its place, two retail spaces were created for the tenants KiK and Ernsting's Family. In addition, the outdoor facilities and the parking lot were renovated.
